Welcome to this week’s broadcast of Jacquie Straight Up where I’m going to bust a big myth about MEN! A complaint I hear from women all the time is “Men are intimidated by strong and successful women”. No they’re not. In actual fact, great men LOVE strong and successful women. Strong, successful, and sexy women that is. Men are not intimidated by us but they are not attracted to masculine, ball-busting women. So if your version of strong and successful comes in a masculine and ballbusting package, men are going to run in the opposite direction. Straight men are attracted to sexy confidence, women who are secure, comfortable in their own skin. Women who are not needy but who are appreciative, loving and kind. Women who look after themselves. Sexy confidence is not tugging on your skirt, constantly adjusting your shoulder straps, or not being able to walk in your heels. It is however about owning your body, being secure enough to compliment others without needing reassurance in return, it is about living your truth, having a purpose, trusting yourself, being kind, a little mysterious, curious, interesting and fascinating.
