I recently went through this with a health scare and OH MY GOODNESS are you right! I had made up so many awful scenarios in my head of how the doctor was going to break the “awful” news to me…. And everything ended up being just fine! I as well in the process, learned to NEVER….EVER, seek my answers from google. I too thought I was going to die!

Hello! Here’s my story to share! I have been overwhelmed at work, and there was this new endeavor that my job is offering once a month that needs LOTS of attention to perform….panic set in, as I knew it would make my workload even more stressful. I was making myself literally sick! I was afraid to approach my boss to suggest that the part timer in our office be granted this responsibility, and rationalized that I would not know if he would go for my idea UNLESS I asked him! I was panicky, but I did tell him my suggestion, and to my surprise, he thought it was a good one! The part timer now has the bulk of this new responsibility, and my panic mode turned off! Knowledge is power indeed and we need to learn to NOT be afraid to ask for help!
