    I just want to say thank you for this week’s Straight Up message. Your email arrived at the right time as I had been feeling down in the dumps, especially today. I did think about going on a juice fast, but have been tempted by food that I end up not doing it. I just need that willpower and motivation!

    Congratulations Jacquie on a very sincerely delivered interesting path to take for depression. I always wondered why fasting plays a huge part in spiritual development and is advocted in the bible. It’s a good reminder to do something I don’t do enough!

    Great video and I may try this as well. Just recently graduated from college and so much building up about finding a job. Thanks for this tip, I will defiantly give it a try and will stop back more often.

    Being on a fast always usually produces some weight loss and that for most people is exhilarating. Makes one feel good about themselves and how they look. I get it so that’s why you felt lifted.

    Thanks Myrna Gay! Yes, and actually the benefits go beyond those from “lightening up” and result in improved mental clarity and focus, and a renewed spiritual connection that comes from focussing inward and getting “quiet”. Pretty amazing!

    It can be a struggle to lift from a funk. I try to figure at the source of mine when it happens. I have never tried or considered a juice fast, so very interesting. I do a detox twice a year and the first time I completed it, I was blown away but how much it cleared the brain fog we sometimes feel and lifted me in every way
