HAVE A GOOD IDEA? WHY YOU NEED TO ACT ON IT. RIGHT. NOW.

OK. So in this week’s Jacquie Straight Up, I get down and dirty.

I’m outside, DRIPPING with sweat, and covered with dust.

I’m wearing zero makeup and my hair’s been stuffed into a straw hat. Truth be told, my outfit alone is enough to cause some of my fashionista friends apoplexy (although I’m probably the only one on the mountain in a Helen Kaminski hat and LV sunglasses)!

It’s HOT — over 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit) at eight in the morning — and I can barely catch my breath.

And with all the huffing and puffing going on in the desert heat, let’s face it — I’m not so fresh…probably not my sexist moment.

But you know what? Despite all of this, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

In fact, I was so inspired in that moment that I had to pull out my phone and share with you, right then and there…click video above to watch.

I dig a lot deeper in my today’s episode, but the BIG revelation I had on the mountainside is this: when you have a really good idea, be sure to act on it! Don’t psych yourself out!

When you’re presented with an opportunity or a great idea, forget waffling back and forth, weighing all the pros and cons. There will always be an upside, and there will always be a downside. In these moments, learn to trust your gut, and JUST DO IT. The journey may well be super challenging and you may doubt your decision many times, but in my opinion, a good idea is ALWAYS worth it in the end.

Don’t let thinking too much prevent you from experiencing the joys and thrills life has to offer.

See you next week!
