12 Mar Anger Management 101
Last week, I was mad. I mean really, really, mad. Furious, in fact.
I found myself in a position where I was so enraged, I couldn’t think straight. I couldn’t work. I was spitting MAD.
Can you relate?
But then, as the universe would have it, I had an unexpected intervention. (I don’t believe in coincidences…)
In my inbox arrived a note from one of my favorite teachers, Dr. Wayne Dyer. And his lesson for the day was all about forgiveness.
It didn’t dawn on me, until I watched his video, that I actually needed to forgive this person that got me so fired up.
I didn’t need to forgive them for their sake; I had to forgive them for mine. I needed to forgive, so I could move on. Simple as that.
In today’s ‘Jacquie Straight Up,’ I share with you the details of Dr. Dyer’s lesson on how to forgive, and rid yourself of anger.
I dig much deeper into Dr. Dyer’s amazing teaching in the video, but there’s one crucial sentence that I simply must share with you now — one that I know will change your life.
If you are ever faced with uncontrollable rage, or faced with a situation where you must forgive, say this:
“I forgive you. You did what you needed to do, given the conditions of your life.”
Say it to mean it. Forgive. And move on.
Be amazed by the power that forgiveness and understanding brings.
After you’ve had a chance to watch this week’s episode, I’d love to hear what you think. So don’t be afraid to comment in the section below. And be sure to hit the “like” button and share with your friends…you never know…one of them may just need a similar forgiveness “intervention.”
Sending love and strength,
