Two weeks ago one of my best friends and I had just 24 hours to spend in Los Angeles. We checked in to the Beverly Wiltshire, had dinner at one of Wolfgang Puck’s restaurants, power shopped Rodeo Drive, lunched at the Ivy and then took a leisurely drive out to Palm Springs. It was perfect!
Let me take a moment to elaborate on the dinner because I quite simply had one of the best meals of my life that night. I have eaten at some of the finest restaurants in the world but this one took the prize for me. “Cut”, Wolfgang Puck’s steakhouse at the Beverley Wiltshire has the kind of food that makes me extremely happy – perfect ingredients prepared simply. I started with a fresh and delicious green bean salad and my main was a steak, like no other steak I have ever eaten, accompanied by a side of the most decadent and sensational mac and cheese to ever cross these lips. To top off an outstanding evening, Wolfgang himself made the rounds and came to our table to meet us – a perfect host.
(And yes, I am an animal lover who eats steak. I will be posting a video on my perspective on the subject one of these days…)
The third photo shows me outside the famous LA restaurant, the Ivy, where we had a lovely lunch served by a delicious witty, blonde waiter from Scotland – Yum!
Cheers to LA!

QUESTION:
“Is it just as simple as thinking/dreaming/visualizing what you want and it comes to you?” – Dreamer
ANSWER:
Hey Dreamer,
Let’s just say that step one is as simple as that! And you need to keep dreaming and imagining until answers start to show up for you and beyond…this could take a while. Don’t give up the dream. Life will eventually start to show you signs, some in the form of opportunities – big and small. Keep an open mind and be brave. Take the opportunities! Believe the signs. Once you know what path to follow, obviously major ACTION will be required to make your dream a reality. Lastly, NEVER give up. Do you know that Colonel Sanders went to 1,008 restaurants with his fried chicken recipe until the 1,009th one agreed to add it to the menu? That’s tenacity.
ALWAYS, ALWAYS keep that fabulous dream movie playing in your head. Use your imagination. Make it big. Believe.
Enjoy the process.

I was lying on the couch yesterday bemoaning my sore throat and stuffy nose when my precious baby curled up between my legs and fell asleep. It is at moments like this when I become so overwhelmed with love for this little dog and also overwhelmed with gratitude for the extraordinary bond that we share. My heart feels like it could burst!
Here’s wishing you all such special moments,

No prizes for guessing that I am BIZERK for shoes!!! Here are 2 of my latest and greatest purchases. These shoes are not made for walking – or even for standing as it turns out. They are strictly for sitting, crossing you legs, waving a foot and flirting.
The gold studded ones are by Alexander McQueen and the gray suede are by Mui Mui – new for pre-fall. How Divine!
For the love of shoes,
