16 Jul The Power of Positive Peeps
I was recently in LA for a photo shoot, surrounded by a team of incredible people who helped to make me feel so good, so sexy, and so inspired. It was all about the hair, the makeup, and the wardrobe…and then came the lights, the camera, and all the crazy action. Such fun!
But this week’s Jacquie Straight Up isn’t about me and all that glitz. It’s about the fact that during the shoot, it dawned on me that one of the most important things we can do for ourselves is to surround ourselves with people who bolster us, people who think positive, and people who believe in us.
My LA team was in my court; they were rooting for me; they supported me 100%. And it showed. The photo shoot was a roaring success, and I came away hungry to make more magic happen. I share more on this CRUCIAL key for creating the life you want in this week’s episode…be sure to click above to watch.
I should also point out that I firmly believe that if we live for the approval of others, we will die by their rejection. But consciously surrounding yourself with people who believe and support you, is very different to needing their approval.
So I encourage you today to consciously make a choice to spend time with your believers. Make the effort to surround yourself with your fans, your supporters, your tribe. Arrange a get together, at least once a month, with the people who love you and your dreams. You know who they are.
And, if you can, hire a coach. A life coach, a business coach, whatever. Just make sure they not only “get” you, but they also get behind you.
If you happen to be looking for a coach, it just so happens that I’m about to open up ten coaching spots. If you are interested in working with me, send me an email, and we can chat and see if we’re a fit.
Spending time with your believers makes all the difference in the world. It really, really does!
