07 May Unleashing the incredible power of your mind: Your Key to Success
If you follow me on Facebook, you’ve probably noticed that five times a week, I enjoy sharing motivational thoughts on my social media profiles.
Sometimes humorous, occasionally cheeky, but always sincere, my goal is to challenge myself and others to think, strive, and push for more each day. (Be sure “like” my Facebook page if you want in on the action.)
One such quote that garnered a lot of attention was this:
“Self doubt is the killer of dreams. Believe in yourself!”
BELIEVING IN YOURSELF. This truly is the key to finding success. And in today’s Jacquie Straight Up, I plan on convincing you of the depth and magnitude of your own power.
I’ll prove to you that you can create a life that inspires you. Even one that you think only exists “out there,” or in someone else’s world.
Watch today’s episode, and you’ll see you can turn a dream into a reality by learning to utilize the power of your mind.
Here’s an example of what I’m talking about: think about the placebo effect in medicine. Studies have proven that people can improve their own health by simply taking a sugar pill, because their own mind tells them they are getting the help they need. They believe the pill is having an effect, but it’s the power of their own belief that cures them, not the pill. Incredible!
So why don’t we use this extraordinary power to get what we want from life? It’s because of self doubt. Self doubt kills our power. We don’t believe we have the ability to make it happen…so it doesn’t.
I dig a lot deeper into the damaging effect of self doubt in today’s video, but what I’m really hoping for is that today, you’ll start to say “no” to self doubt. Instead, you’ll start to harness the power of your mind.
Let mantras, positive affirmations, and faith be your sugar pill. Do whatever you need to do to convince yourself of your own power!
If you’ve enjoyed today’s note, please hit the “like” button and share with your family and friends. I truly believe that learning how to use the power of our own minds can lead us all to a better place.
See you next week!
Sending love and strength,
Jacquie
