As some of you may know from following us on social media, we had a pre-launch party last Wednesday for the up-coming My Fat Little Rule Book – my first published work. The function was held in the Rosewood Suite on the penthouse level of the fabulous Hotel Georgia in Vancouver and attended by about 35 fashion and food bloggers and reporters.

I could not have wished for a more successful event! I thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many of the beautiful and talented bloggers who live and work in our fair city and I was overwhelmed by their positive response to the book reading. I am so very grateful for their incredibly supportive blog postings and reports that have followed.

My thanks also go to the extraordinary Brendan Bailey of Brendan Bailey PR who made it all happen – he is a dedicated perfectionist of the highest order. Thanks to my great friend Sonya Orr for the excellent photography and to the special Rebecca Bree Rawlinson and the awesome Melissa Guillergan for their assistance and support. I am also grateful to the lovely Fiona Kennedy for my fab hair and make-up and to the Hotel Georgia for the beautiful venue and outstanding service.
