26 Jul A Miraculous Message!

Welcome to this week’s broadcast of Jacquie Straight Up, the place to be if you want to live a kick-ass life of wealth and freedom. In this week’s video, I want to share my heart and a miracle with you. My beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Spencer Somerville passed on rather unexpectedly on July 17th at the age of 15. We shared a bond like no other and were completely joined at the hip – so my heart broke that day. But as I have spoken about before, even the most devastating losses can be an opportunity for new beginnings. And that message was sent to me loud and clear following my precious pup’s death. He passed away on a Sunday and on Monday morning at 5 am I hiked up a local mountain.

For my life, there are no better anti-depressants or coping mechanisms more effective than exercise and Mother Nature. I have done that particular hike about 400 times over the past few years and have seen wild Big Horn sheep on that trail just twice. And on this day, I had my third sighting –it was a mama and a beautiful baby. I was joined by a few other hikers and watched them peacefully browsing for a few minutes. As I sobbed my way back down the trail, I knew that it was no coincidence that I had seen these beautiful animals on this day but I wasn’t sure of the message yet. I knew it would come to me though and I wondered if perhaps it had something to do with the circle of life. When I got home, I shared my experience with my husband. He is of Native American decent so his first words to me were “Did you look up the spiritual meaning of Big Horn Sheep as an animal totem?” I loved that suggestion and researched it right away. Here’s what I found “ Bighorn sheep’s message is that of new beginnings. You can initiate new projects and have the strength to complete them. Stay in balance with your environment by hiking, walking, or climbing. Seek new opportunities. Now is a good time to make changes.” Wow. Now this when the real miracle of it kicked in for me.

The next day I was back on the mountain and I saw the mama and her baby again. Twice in 2 days and this time I was completely alone with them. I stood quietly and watched and gave thanks for their message. After a while, they started moving up the steep trail in front of me  – I followed at a distance knowing that they were channeling my Spencer and I was being lead up the mountain – keep climbing Mom, keep going, don’t give up, great things are unfolding. You are free now to go all out. It’s time for new beginnings. You see, rightly or wrongly, Spencer’s well being has been one of the biggest priorities in my life for the past 15 years – in every decision, I have considered its impact on his precious life so I have held back on many things. The message now was clear. No more holding back.  And when the pair turned off the trail and headed out of site, I knew that they had delivered their message to me – The message from the Divine that I needed to hear, and that I wouldn’t see them again. And I haven’t. To me that was further proof of the miracle and the perfect timing of it all.

And that is my message for you this week and its no coincidence that you are hearing it right now either –It’s time for new beginnings. You are ready.
