Picture this: I’m in a hotel room, getting ready to attend a wedding, rocking out to a Rolling Stones concert that just happened to be on TV:

“You make a grown man cryyyy. You make a grown man cryyyy.”

Yup, that was me, blow-dryer microphone and all…letting out my inner rock star. YES!! lol

As you’ll see on today’s Jacquie Straight Up, I’m coming at you live from my hotel room in LA. I’m here for a dear friend’s wedding…a very busy travel month for sure!

But during my impromptu “rock-out” with the Rolling Stones, it struck me that there is a HUGE message here: the secrets to Mick Jagger’s success…and it really has nothing to do with his voice.

When you look at Mick Jagger and the entire Rolling Stones band, I would argue these aren’t necessarily beautiful looking men. And, to me, Mick Jagger doesn’t have the greatest voice around, either. But despite all of this, they still are THE ROLLING STONES.

You know why? Because they claimed it!

They are living their purpose. They made decisions, they stuck with it, and they made it happen.

To watch Mick Jagger on stage, you realize he leaves absolutely nothing up there. He gives it his ALL. He gives his audience absolutely everything…he just lays his soul bare.

It’s that kind of passion, that kind of purpose, that pays off in the end.

So that’s my big message to you today: pick what it is that lights your fire, and then claim it!

And please, please, don’t worry about what anyone else thinks.

And don’t wait until you think that you’re ready! If you wait, you’re never going to be ready.

Just step out. Lay it on the table. Leave no stone unturned. And then, give it your all. Go after it with your heart and soul!

That’s exactly what Mick Jagger does on the stage. He gives it his heart and soul. And that passion has led to massive success…and it will lead to your success, too.

So today, I encourage you to find your passion. Claim it wholeheartedly. And then step up into your greatness…I know you can!
